Edward Ryan Richard

Student Grade 5
Edward Ryan Richard is a 5 th Grader from The Indian Public School. As a young learner, he is yet to explore my mettle and to find out where his heart will lead him when he grows up. He is enthusiastic about learning history, scientific facts, events and incidents that shaped todays world. He loves watching documentaries on the strategies adopted by kingdoms and countries to win the wars. That makes him a military enthusiast and fascinates him towards perusing military journalism as a profession. He also dreams to channelize all his abilities and skills to try his stint in Indian Administrative Service. He likes to participate in competitions of public speaking, quiz and Olympiad and came out successfully in a few. He hopes that he will be able to improve his leadership skills through the position of the primary section captain for the Northern Nobles.

Iniyan J

Student of grade 5
J Iniyan, an ardent 5th grader, Indian Public School, Salem is always fascinated by history and facts, inquisitive about science and technology and passionate towards every aspect of life. He loves curling up with books of all genre enjoying every wit and wisdom. Being a social butterfly actively engaging himself in healthy conversation with people of all age groups, he is profoundly sublimed to be a part of TedXYouth, TIPS Salem this year!

Kowshik Srivatsan

Student A level
J.R. Kowshik Srivatsan is a dedicated A-level student at The Indian Public School Salem, he is a medical enthusiast with a strong interest in Human Health and diseases. He aspires to become an orthopaedic surgeon and has gained valuable experience through internship in the National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis. He has also served as the Head of the Makerspace club and Cultural Secretary. Additionally, he has published numerous articles in the Times of India Student Edition and participated in the First LEGO League, advancing to the national level. He is passionate about collecting stamps, coins, and currency and enjoys reading fiction books, especially those by Rick Riordan and he also loves listening to music too. He is enthusiastic about digital culture and eager to explore it further, and he is excited to be part of TEDxYouth at TIPS Salem this year!

Laksitaa Prajesh

Student Grade 5
Laksitaa Prajesh, an avid learner- a perfect blend of curiosity,vibrant and ambitious student from The Indian Public School. With a contagious smile and infectious enthusiasm, lights up the room with fun-loving spirit. She loves to travel and always looking forward to the next exciting journey. She excels academically. Outside the classroom, she enjoys swimming, writing short stories and devouring books. She also keen to play piano with her own lyrics and dance. She is grateful for having this opportunity to be part of Tedx Youth Salem, and she is eagerly looking forward it.

Nikithaa Ramya Rajkumar

Student Grade 5
Nikithaa Ramya Rajkumar, As an energetic and driven student from The Indian Public School, I aspire to become a scientist and pioneer new medicines. Currently, I have the privilege of serving as Captain of the Eastern Elite House. My previous role as Vice Captain has sharpened my leadership and organizational abilities. Outside of academics, I’m an active player of both badminton and basketball, which not only keep me fit but also teach me essential lessons in strategy, teamwork, and cooperation. Swimming helps me relax and stay healthy, while learning the piano fuels my creativity, with dreams of composing my own music one day. Balancing academics with extracurricular activities has refined my time management skills. I also love immersing myself in books. I feel truly honored to be part of TEDxYouth at TIPS Salem, and I’m excited to share my journey with all of you!

Niva Karthikeyan

Student Grade 11
Niva Karthikeyan is a curious and passionate AS-level student at The Indian Public School, Salem. She has a strong interest in animation and aspires to become a graphic designer in the future. Niva has participated in many events held by her school, such as MUN and the Olympiads, as well as some events outside, including Bennington College’s famous Young Writer’s Awards. In her free time, Niva’s hobbies range from baking new recipes or reading fictional novels to writing short stories and watching a few inspiring animations. She is also a music enthusiast and enjoys listening to different genres of music while engaging in her activities. Niva is delighted to be a part of this year’s TEDxYouth at TIPS Salem and is ecstatic to share her ideas with the world!

Pranita Sree L V

Student Grade 10
Pranita Sree LV, a dedicated Grade 10 IGCSE student at The Indian Public School, Salem, is a tech enthusiast with a keen interest in exploration, leadership, and research. A recipient of the High Achiever Award, she has demonstrated academic excellence alongside her achievements as a regional award-winning swimmer and her passion for scuba diving, hiking, and treaking. As an experienced MUN participant, Pranita is known for her thoughtful, research-driven insights. She has also written for The Times of India, showcasing her engagement with broader societal issues. Musically, she plays the guitar and ukulele, and has earned runner-up positions in Clever Harvey’s Finance and Marketing challenges. With a deep interest in the role of emotions in shaping human experiences, Pranita is excited to share her perspectives at TEDxYouth at TIPS Salem.

Rithisha B

Student Grade 8
B.Rithisha, an ambitious 8th grade learner at The Indian Public School is a business enthusiast and wishes to become an entrepreneur. She has a penchant towards reading books, learning new things, social service, and exploration. As a curious girl she has participated and gained exposure from MUN.She has also won many medals in Maths, English and Cyber olympiads. An experienced chess player and is good at drawing. She also has got selected for the regional level drawing competitions. As a bright student and good at academics she has received ' The High Achievers Award' for her talents. Beyond academics, she is an adventurous girl who loves to play basketball and has attended quite a number of matches, including the RAIS match and the Intra school competitions that take place in her school. She is also an avid music listener. She loves to sing and is honored to be a part of TEDxYouth at TIPS Salem.

Riya Venkatesh

Student Grade 6
Riya Venkatesh Is a passionate Grade 6 learner, with a taste for knowledge, inquisition, leadership and community. She is currently a regional athlete, a rank one Olympiad participant and an avid guitar player.Her exceptional talent in oratory has been recognized through numerous speech competition victories, showcasing her ability to articulate ideas with both eloquence and passion. Beyond this she is also a nature enthusiast and has a keen interest in geopolitics. And is delighted to be a part of TedX Youth Salem 2024

S.Kothai Srinithi

student Grade 8
S.Kothai Srinithi, Curious, kind and a focused learning student of TIPS in eighth grade excelling in her studies with dedication and discipline. Her passion for knowledge is driven by a deep desire to make a positive impact in the world. Kind and empathy are the values she believes to create meaningful change to the needed society and she believes it can be done by using her education . She's a visionary, fueled by a restless energy to challenge herself at various horizons . Bold and determined, she refuses to accept limitations, constantly seek ways to transform her world. Her ideas are radical, her ambitions are fierce, and she believes she can reshape society and break barriers .. by becoming a powerful highly educated leader. She has wonderful leadership skills . She has vast interest in dancing , public speaking, drawing and has secured around 55 regional gold medals and national championships in spell bee and Kumon .

Sri Gowri Senthil

Student Grade 10
Sri Gowri Senthil An IGSCE learner despite being academically dispositioned and securing academic-based awards, shows equal regard in other areas as well. Playing basketball and being a part of the school team has deepened her sense of togetherness and community spirit. Her interests span from music to MUNs to making Brazilian bracelets. Participating in multiple MUNs and having experience in journalism has become pivotal for her in understanding how this world works. While she is not used to voicing out her ideas, being an avid reader causes her to have unfamiliar ideas that she thinks need spreading. She is excited to be a part of TEDxYouth at TIPS Salem this year!

Vidhya Prabhu

Associate Director
Vidhya Prabhu is an Associate Director, Kyndryl Solutions Pvt Ltd. She is the leader for Global Delivery of IBM Cloud Technology, University Relations, Transformation & D&I. She is a TEDx speaker & talked about “Humour & Glamour in Leadership”. She is the Brand ambassador at Women In Cloud, Google WomenTechMakers, Society of women Engineers, AWS Women in Tech & CII Indian Women Network. She has won the Samarthya Samaan Award 2024, Transformation leader 2024 & Global Role Model of the Year 2023 from ET Edge (Economic Time initiative), Top 50 Global D&I Influencers & Laureate in IT 2024 for her contribution to Inclusion & Diversity as a leader & mentor. Vidhya is a part of the 2024 Oscar qualifying short film “ICONS” on Women In Technology.
